Prof. Mochish holds a PhD and MPhil in Media and Cultural Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, as well as a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Hyderabad. His doctoral research critically examines the role of Malayalam newspapers in land struggles in Kerala from 1930 to 2008, offering a distinctive historical perspective on media and public action in the region.
His academic interests include Political Communication, Press Freedom, Media History, Social Justice Journalism, Media and Development, Alternative Media, and the Intersections of Culture, Digital Technology, and Media. |
