Chaitanya Ravi’s primary research interests lie at the intersection of energy policy, climate policy, and international relations. He has a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Public Policy from George Mason University where he was a Presidential Scholar from 2007-2010. His doctoral dissertation was a technological history of the debate over the US-India nuclear cooperation agreement. A revised version of the dissertation was published as a book (A Debate to Remember-The US-India Nuclear Deal) by the Oxford University Press-India.
He has presented his research on the nuclear agreement and the Indian fast breeder reactor at international conferences including the International Summer Symposium on Science & World Affairs and the Annual Meeting of the Society for Social Studies of Science.
He has taught energy policy, environmental policy, biology, and microbiology at George Mason University and environmental studies at New York University. He also holds a Masters in Environmental Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
His current research focuses on nuclear policy and climate policy. |
